Overview
Muktinath is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists which is located in the Mustang District of Nepal. It is one of the highest temples in the world with an altitude of 3,800m. In Hinduism, it is called “Mukti Kshetra” which signifies “the place of salvation”. On the other hand, in Buddhism, it is called “Chumming Gyasta” which means “Hundred Waters” in Tibetan. Basically, Muktinath is famous for 108 spouts with 2 Kundas where you can wash your sins. You’ll be glancing at the scenic aerial views of Pokhara valley and the beautiful Himalayas.
Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu. Our representative will assist and transfer you to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel, a short briefing will be done about the trek once you have checked in. Overnight at the Hotel.
Today we will fly to Pokhara.Transfer to Hotel. Pokhara is a city of the lake where you can have an eye memorizing view of Annapurna ranges and Fishtail. After having some rest we will have the city tour including Bindabasini temple, Devi's fall, and Gupteshwor cave. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Early in the morning, we fly to Jomsom from Pokhara airport. The 30 min flight will offer a scenic aerial view of Pokhara valley and the beautiful Himalayas. Once we reach Jomsom we will check-in at the hotel then drive to Muktinath. A sacred place for Hindus and Buddhist Pilgrimage. Muktinath is the temple of Lord Bishnu. The temple is famous for 108 spouts with 2 Kunda where you can wash your Sins. Drive back to Jomsom. Overnight at Jomsom.
A morning flight to Pokhara. Free day in Pokhara as you can have a relaxing walk in lakeside or enjoy the Spa.
Breakfast at Hotel. Then fly back to Kathmandu.Transfer to Hotel. After having some rest, the guide will assist and escort you for a full day of sightseeing including Patan Durbar Square an ancient palace that is converted into an open museum. The place offers you the beautiful and historic monuments, temples, architecture of the 16th century influenced by both Buddhist and Hindu religions. The tour also continues with the major sites i.e. Boudhanath Stupa & Pasupatinath Temple. Both the stupa have gained equal value in Buddhist people. Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. Pasupatinath is one of the sacred places for the Hindu religion. The temple of lord shiva, where millions of people visit every year. Back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
You will have your breakfast at the hotel. As per your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the international airport of Kathmandu 3 hours prior to the flight time and your tour ends here.
