Overview
Ghandruk trek is one of the shortest and exciting treks for nature and mountain lovers. Ghandruk village is one of the developed villages in the Kaski district. The mesmerizing view of Machhapuchre/Fishtail (6,993m), Annapurna Range (7,219m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), Gangapurna (7,455m), Singu Chuli (6,501m) can be seen on the way. On top of that, multiple tourist destinations like Fewa Lake, Magar, and Gurung settlements can be glazed as well. The Gurung settlement is full of Gurungs who’re rich culturally and friendly in nature. The hospitality here is pretty admirable as you’ll get a warm welcome and a variety of authentic Nepali dishes.
Itinerary
Day 01 : Drive to Phedi & trek Australian camp 1950 6hrs.
Drive to Phedi. The guide will assist you and brief you about the trek. The 30 min drive will take you to Phedi, the starting point of the trek. We start our walk to head Australian camp following the stair through the beautiful forest. During our walk, we will experience the daily lifestyle of the villagers along with their typical houses and terrace farming with the majestic view of the Fishtail, Annapurna, and Himchuli. Overnight at Local Lodge.
Day 02 : Trek to Ghandruk (1950 m): 7 Hrs.
In the first phase of our walk, we walk upward till Deurali continues our walk through a forested area. The trail will be amazing at the majestic view of the Himalayas including Annapurna, Fishtail, and Mardi Himalayas. Then we walk downwards to reach Ghandruk.A beautiful Gurung village from where Himalayan ranges are seen perfectly. Overnight at local Lodge.
Day 03 : Trek to Nayapul (5 hrs walk) then drive to Pokhara 1.20 Hrs.
Early in the morning, we will enjoy the sunrise with the eye memorizing view of the Himalayas including Fishtail, Annapurna, Hiunchuli. We continue our walk to the ending point named Nayapul. From Nayapul we drive back to Pokhara.
