Overview
Dhampus Sarangkot Trek starts from Phedi village which is located 30 mins approximately from the Lakeside Pokhara. It is a short and trouble-free trek that offers you a wide view of Mountain Ranges. For instance, Annapurna 1 (8,091m), Machhapuchre (6,993m), Annapurna 2 (7,930m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), LamjungHimal (6,983m), Annapurna South (7,219m), and many more mesmerizing mountains. You’ll glimpse the Gurung's inhabitants in the Dhampus area and you’ll get to know their culture as well. On top of that, the beautiful sunrise view has also glanced from Sarangkot. Moreover, the captivating view of Pokhara city and Phewa Lake with the paragliders flying above us can be spotted from the top of Sarangkot.
Itinerary
Day 01 : Drive to Phedi and trek to Dhampus (1750 m): 3 Hrs.
After breakfast, we start our scenic drive to Phedi where we start our trek. Once we reach Phedi we start our walk to reach Dhampus. The trail goes through villages and their daily life activities. We walk uphill trail enjoying the majestic view of the Annapurna, Fishtail, and Manaslu. Dhampus is the beautiful village of the Gurung, Taman, Bramins, and other castes from where the sunrise and Himalayan range are memorized. We spend our night in Dhampus Village.
Day 02 : Trek to Sarankot (1590 m): 5 Hrs.
Early in the morning, you will be awarded by the sun-kissed paranomic view of the Himalayas. Breakfast at Lodge. Then we head towards Sarangkot. A hill station famous for the sunrise and sunset with a magical view of the Himalayas. We walk downwards to reach Sarangkot. Overnight at Sarangkot.
Day 03 : Trek to Pokhara (840 m):3 Hrs.
Early in the morning, we will enjoy the sunrise over all the ranges of Annapurna along with the fishtail and Dhaulagiri. Breakfast then we walk around 3 hours towards Pokhara through forest and village areas. Transfer to the Hotel.
