Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu. Our representative will assist and transfer you to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel, a short briefing will be done about the tour once you have checked in. Overnight at the Hotel.
Breakfast at Hotel. The guide will assist and escort you for full-day sightseeing including Patan Durbar Square an ancient palace that is converted into an open museum. The place offers you the beautiful and historic monuments, temples, architecture of the 16th century influenced by both Buddhist and Hindu religions. The tour also continues with the major Buddhist sites i.e. Boudhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa. Both the stupa have gained equal value in Buddhist people. Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. Swayambhu is said a self-created stupa according to legend. Back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to Namo Buddha, A sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site where the Buddha, in his previous life sacrificed his body to feed a starving tigress and her cubs. The place has both religious and naturally beautiful values. We will stay in the Namobuddha monastery and have the same food as the monk. Overnight at Namo Buddha Monastery.
Today we will have an almost 310 km drive to Lumbini. The drive continues with the scenic view of the river, hills, countryside daily life with some houses and restaurants on the highway. Lumbini lies in the western part of Nepal. The place is also known as the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. Overnight at Hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will have sightseeing starting from Maya Devi temple, where the Buddha was born is persevered to date. The Ashoka pillar is one of the oldest inscriptions written by king Ashoka in his ruling period in 3rd BC. Peace pagoda, world china temple, and many monasteries are the major sites for today's sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.
Today we will drive back to Kathmandu following the same route. Check-in to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
You will have your breakfast at the hotel. As per your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the international airport of Kathmandu 3 hours prior to the flight time and your tour ends here.
