The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most beautiful and traditional treks globally, with breathtaking mountain views and the opportunity to visit a typical Nepali village, meet the residents, and learn about their active conventional way of life in Nepal's Himalaya. The Annapurna Base Camp route passes through breathtaking scenery, charming Gurung and Magar villages, lush green Rhododendron, bamboo, and alpine forests on its way to 4130m Annapurna Base Camp.
We will begin our journey in Kathmandu and pick you up from your location before heading to Pokhara. Pokhara, the gateway city to Annapurna Base Camp, is about 6-7 hours by car from Kathmandu. When you arrive in the city, you have the option of freshening up and going on a sightseeing tour of the city.
The next day, we'll drive to Nayapul, from where we'll hike to Tikhe Dhunga, which is 1495 meters above sea level. We'll be staying there for the night. The next day, we'll hike to Ghorepani, which is 2850 meters above sea level and a 7-hour trek from Tikhe Dhunga.
We will go to Poonhill on the fifth day of our tour and then travel to Tadapani. The trek will take about 6-7hrs to complete and the place is located at an elevation of 2500m.
We'll leave early the next morning for Chhomrong, where we'll hike for around 5 hours to reach an elevation of 2020 meters. We will sail to Dovan, which is located at an elevation of 2600 meters, after spending the night at Chhomrong.
On the eighth day of our trek, we'll walk from Dovan to Deurali, which is one of the shortest routes we'll take throughout the expedition, covering a distance of 4 hours. After walking for 5 hours on the 9th day, we will arrive at Annapurna Base Camp directly from Deurali. At Annapurna Base Camp, we'll spend the night.
From the base camp, which is located at an elevation of 1780m, we will go to Jhinu Danda hot spring the next day. After spending the night there, we'll go back to Pokhara the next day, a distance of 5 hours on foot.
We will return to Kathmandu by road on the 13th day.
